This month, we are proud to honor the incredible dedication of Pam Foss, Clay County Assistant State’s Attorney.
As a lifelong prosecutor, Pam has devoted her career to the pursuit of justice and accountability. She works tirelessly to represent victims of abuse, guiding them through the complexities of the legal system while ensuring their voices are heard, respected, and powerfully represented. Her deep empathy and unwavering commitment to those she serves make her an extraordinary advocate for children and families.
Pam is widely recognized as a leader in the field of domestic violence prosecution, working not only to hold offenders accountable, but to empower victims and help break cycles of abuse. Her ability to balance compassion with strength has made a lasting impact on countless individuals and families across our region.
Her commitment to children extends far beyond the courtroom.
Pam previously served on the RRCAC Board of Directors and continues to play an active role on the Clay County Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and Program Committee, helping shape programs that protect children and strengthen support systems for families. She consistently shows up for our community — attending our Gala, supporting events, and ensuring that her office is represented at every forensic interview so children have professional, compassionate advocates by their side during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Within her office and across the state, Pam is a respected leader and mentor. As Chief Assistant County Attorney for the Criminal Division, she has spent over a decade guiding and training the next generation of prosecutors. She has also contributed to statewide training efforts, helping equip new attorneys with the skills needed to advocate effectively for victims. Her expertise in the courtroom is unmatched, having successfully tried more than 50 jury trials throughout her career.
Those who work alongside Pam describe her as a person of the highest integrity, professionalism, and reliability — someone who leads with both excellence and heart. There is no challenge too great and no case too complex for her to take on, always with the goal of ensuring justice is served and victims are supported.
Pam’s dedication, leadership, and support of the Red River Children’s Advocacy Center exemplify what it means to serve the community and champion justice for those who need it most.
Thank you, Pam, for the incredible impact you continue to make.
