Missy Ketterl – March Hero of the Month

We are honored to recognize Missy Ketterl as our March Hero of the Month. Missy is an exceptional advocate and partner to the RRCAC, demonstrating unwavering dedication to the children and families she serves. She goes above and beyond—not only excelling in her role as a case manager but also demonstrating and supporting our mission through her time, knowledge, and compassion.

Missy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Moorhead State University and a Master’s in Counseling with emphasis on K-12, from the University of North Dakota. Her journey has led her through school environments, group homes, state hospitals, and working in child welfare. Since September 2022, she has served as a dedicated case manager at Agassiz Valley Human Service Zone. With a heart full of passion for kids and families, Missy thrives on witnessing families reunite and cherishes the commitment it takes to spark those positive changes!

RRCAC staff share positive interactions with Missy over the last couple years. Missy Ketterl is a compassionate and dedicated social worker who goes above and beyond for the children on her caseload. She works tirelessly to help them adjust to their new normal, ensuring they receive the services and support they need to thrive. Missy is incredibly knowledgeable about the families she serves, bringing valuable insight to the cases she presents to RRCAC to help set children up for long-term success. She consistently prioritizes a child-centered, victim-first approach, embodying our mission of protecting and supporting children with unwavering dedication.

Missy’s commitment extends beyond advocacy—she takes the time to truly understand each child’s unique history and needs. She attends mental health assessments alongside the children on her caseload, offering a deep understanding of their cases, which allows clinicians to make personalized and impactful recommendations. Her presence provides comfort and consistency for the children she serves, ensuring they always have a strong, supportive advocate by their side.

Beyond her expertise and dedication, Missy is known for her professionalism, kindness, and genuine compassion. She is always polite, supportive, and a truly SWEET SOUL whose positive energy and commitment make a lasting impact on the families she serves. RRCAC is incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with her and witness firsthand the extraordinary dedication, empathy, and care she brings to her work.
