Be Someone

A 30-Day Storytelling Initiative to Protect Children

Every child deserves safety, love, and a voice. Yet, 1 in 7 children in North Dakota faces the devastating trauma of abuse. What if you could change that? What if you could Be Someone for a child in need?

The Be Someone campaign is a 30-day storytelling initiative that sheds light on the heroes on the front lines—police officers, social workers, therapists, parents, and community members—who work tirelessly to protect children and help them heal.

Through powerful, real-life stories, we’ll show you the impact of Children’s Advocacy Centers and how you can be a part of the solution.

Childrens' Champion of the Month

The Red River Children’s Advocacy Center (RRCAC) seeks partners to help support and provide for children affected by abuse and neglect. By becoming a Children’s Champion of the Month, sponsors contribute to the children’s recovery by providing snacks, drinks, and supplies, enhancing their ability to heal. Sponsors receive community recognition and exposure, highlighting their crucial support and the positive impact on the children’s well-being.

Wish List

Child abuse can be very subtle and you may not even see signs. While the following signs are not always indicative of child abuse, and are most typically seen in sexual abuse, remaining vigilant may help you see signs faster.
