Job Overview:

The Mental Health Clinician position is focused on providing direct clinical services to children and families referred to RRCAC. The clinician will provide appropriate specialized trauma-focused mental health assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention services for child victims of abuse and their family members. The clinician will also provide assessment and treatment to children and adolescents with problematic and/or illegal sexual behavior. As part of the multi-disciplinary team, the clinician will work in partnership with Child Advocacy Center staff, law enforcement, Child Protective Services investigators, the County Attorney’s office, medical personnel and other key partners to mobilize and strengthen the collaborative approach to the prevention, intervention, investigation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse. Full-time is preferred, but part-time and contract options may be considered. In office is preferred, but remote may be considered.

Job Overview:

 

The Forensic Interview Program Assistant supports the coordination and delivery of forensic interview and advocacy services for children and vulnerable adults served by the Red River Children’s Advocacy Center. This role blends direct service, case coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, and program administration to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed services in accordance with accreditation standards.

 

 

 

The position conducts forensic interviews, manages case documentation and scheduling, and serves as a key liaison between internal staff and external multidisciplinary partners. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within child protection, law enforcement, and legal systems.
