As Director of Juvenile Court Unit Two in North Dakota, Karen brought deep knowledge, unwavering compassion, and a clear commitment to doing what’s best for youth. She dedicated her career to advancing care for youth to ensure safety and accountability with a focus on evidence-based practices.
Karen played a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening RRCAC’s Problematic Sexual Behavior programs and was a founding member of our Statewide Triage Team. She was an influential voice on our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) providing her expertise and wisdom with kindness and grace.
Whether offering insight during an MDT meeting or championing statewide collaboration, Karen showed up prepared, engaged, and deeply invested in the well-being of families. Her legacy lives on through the systems she helped strengthen and the lives she helped change.
